The Trustees of Reservations and Boston Natural Areas Network (BNAN) are working together for a greener city.

For 30 years, BNAN has worked with communities to create and protect places for people to walk, grow food, sit, bike, fish, and paddle. The Trustees of Reservations and Boston Natural Areas Network (BNAN) are working together for a greener city. This affiliation brings The Trustees full circle, from our origins as an organization whose goal was to preserve open space as a means for urban residents to escape into the beautiful natural landscapes of Massachusetts. As an affiliate, Boston Natural Areas Network continues operating as an independent nonprofit organization with its own board. Valerie Burns, president of BNAN, is also a vice president for The Trustees. The Trustees Board includes two BNAN directors and BNAN’s board includes two Trustees directors.
